During a photomodulation session, the scalp is exposed to LED light for 15 to 20 minutes.

Red light penetrates the hair bulb’s heart and exerts a healing and repairing action while the yellow light acts deep in the dermis: it slows down hair loss and stimulates regrowth.

The Installation

Comfortably seated, you are equipped with a helmet equipped with LED lamps, specially designed for hair phototherapy treatments. This treatment is non-invasive and completely painless. It is instead a vector of well-being!

The Session

You can relax and enjoy this moment, without any burning sensation or pain.

Unmissable

The ability of LEDs to cause vasodilation of the scalp optimizes the other treatments performed at the Racine2 center. Phototherapy is therefore systematically present in our care formulas.

Frequently asked questions

ATP is not just a ranking of tennis players. Scientifically, ATP refers to a substance produced by the human body, adenosine triphosphate, produced continuously in the body.

It provides the essential energy we need to live. What does this have to do with hair loss you ask? ATP is at the heart of the cell regeneration process. Androgenetic alopecia is largely due to the slowdown or even cessation of hair cell renewal. This stoppage halts hair growth, causes their fall, and begins the onset of baldness.

Phototherapy helps stimulate ATP and, consequently, the renewal of hair stem cells.

LEDs are electroluminescent laser diodes that emit a light more or less powerful depending on their color. Their repairing and regenerating action has long been proven.

The beneficial effects of LEDs on the skin (burns, scars, stretch marks, etc.) are recognized and LED technology is commonly used to fight against dermal and epidermal inflammation.

LED treatment is also effective in treating alopecia. It stimulates scalp blood circulation, improves hair follicle renewal, promotes regrowth, and slows down hair loss in men as well as women.

Concretely, the scalp is exposed for 15 to 20 minutes to the cold colored red and yellow light produced by the LEDs.

Red light penetrates the hair bulb’s heart and exerts a healing and repairing action while the yellow light acts deep in the dermis: it slows down hair loss and stimulates regrowth.  This treatment is non-invasive and completely painless. It even has the advantage of providing a general sense of well-being.

You can combine hair phototherapy sessions with a course of dietary supplements to boost the stimulating action of the treatment. LED treatment is the ideal complement to FUE grafting, as it accelerates the growth of hair grafts implanted during surgery. Mesografting also offers good complementarity to phototherapy. Indeed, the action of LEDs promotes the penetration of stem cells injected into the scalp. Likewise, for mesotherapy, which involves injecting a mixture of vitamins and hyaluronic acid into the scalp, the LED light encourages the product’s penetration for optimal effectiveness.
